Dredging to resume hopefully this week

Last week, my daughter helped me putĀ a new canopy on the dredge to replace the tarp ripped up by the last tropical storm, and the hose was untangled, also a result of the storm (see dredge report Sept 23). Dredging should resume this week after the discharge is switched back to Cell 5. Containment needs to be added/repaired, but that won’t affect the dredging schedule.

Ducks, warblers, hummingbirds and others are moving in, staging for fall migration or establishing winter territories.
