Dredge Report, June 8, 2011

Wednesday, June 8

LSU John Cross and Chad Judy returned to finish assembling hose and pulling it into place in Cell 5. They put the discharge between two big yellow floats instead of the upright spreader so there is less restriction on the outflow with the longer hose. This was tied into place with ropes, and can be pulled around the cell to distribute flow. Timmy worked to replace corroded cam-lock levers in the hoses that needed it. Karen was unable to assist in the morning activities due to family medical issue that kept her in Baton Rouge. Timmy reported the dredge hooked up and ready to pump by 1:30pm. LSU departed soon after.

6:00pm Timmy picked Karen up at the dock for an early start in the morning.
